ਹਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਦਾ ਘਿਨੌਣਾ ਜੁਰਮ
ਕਬੂਲ ਕਰਦਾਂ
ਮੈਂ ਮੰਨਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ
ਮੈਂ ਵੀ ਨਾਨਕਪੰਥੀ ਹਾਂ
ਮੈਂ ਨਾਨਕਿ-ਮਜਬੂਰ ਹਾਂ
ਧਰਮੀ ਤੇ ਭਾਖਾਵੀ ਵੰਡੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ
ਮੰਨਣੋਂ ਇਨਕਾਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ!
ਅੱਲਾਹੀ ਰਿਦੈ ਨੂੰ
ਲੀਰੋਲੀਰ ਕਰਦੀਆਂ
ਇਹਨਾਂ ਅਨਹੁਕਮੀ ਲੀਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ
ਮੈਂ ਰੱਦ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ
—ਨਾਨਕੀ ਵਰੋਸਾਏ
ਰੱਬੀ ਹੱਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਦਕਾ
ਇਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਆਨਣੋ
ਮੁਨਕਰ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ!
ਮੈਂ ਨਾਨਕਿ-ਵੱਸ ਹਾਂ
ਮੈਂ ਨਾਨਕੀ ਗੀਤ ਚਿੱਲਾ-ਚਿੱਲਾ ਕੇ
ਉੱਚੀਆਂ ਲੰਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਸੁਰਾਂ ਲਹਿਰਾ ਕੇ
ਅੱਲ੍ਹਾਹ-ਔਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ
ਕਿ “ਨਾ ਕੋ ਹਿੰਦੂ ਨਾ ਮੁਸਲਮਾਨ!”
ਕੂਕਦਾ ਹਾਂ
ਹੇਕਾਂ ਮਾਰ-ਮਾਰ
ਗਾਂਵਦਾ ਹਾਂ
ਕਿ “ਪੂਜਾ ਔ ਨਮਾਜ ਓਹੀ!”
